Dental Hygienist

We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team at Family Health Care. As a key member of our dental team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and education.
Key Responsibilities- Prophylaxis and X-Ray Services: Perform routine prophylaxis treatments, take oral x-rays, and apply sealants as needed.
- Oral Hygiene Instruction: Provide personalized oral hygiene instruction and education to patients, promoting good oral health practices.
- Community Education: Participate in community education programs, including topical fluoride treatments and oral health workshops.
- Administrative Support: Assist with office and billing functions, including phone calls and data entry.
- Supervision and Training: Supervise and train junior staff members, ensuring they meet our high standards of patient care.
- Quality Assurance: Participate in quality assurance initiatives, including in-service training and equipment maintenance.
- Education and Licensure: Current licensure to practice in Michigan and graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program.
- Knowledge and Skills: Thorough knowledge of oral hygiene principles and practices, good knowledge of dentistry, and skill in the use of instruments.
- Personal Qualities: Ability to work independently, provide excellent patient care, and communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
