Responsibilities and Requirements- Deliver direct patient care: Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, taking into account individual needs and preferences.
- Nursing expertise: Possess current knowledge and skills in Med Surg / Telemetry, with a focus on providing safe and effective care to patients.
- Graduate degree and licensure: Hold a graduate degree in Nursing (RN program) and maintain an unrestricted RN license in the state.
- Work experience: Bring previous work experience as an RN, demonstrating ability to adapt to dynamic healthcare environments.
This role requires frequent lifting, bending, and reaching, with occasional requirements for lifting up to 80 pounds using proper techniques. The nurse may also spend extended periods standing and walking, potentially exposing them to chemicals, radiation, infectious diseases/waste, and blood-borne pathogens.
