Job Summary:

CDL Drivers Choice is seeking a skilled and experienced CDL-A Local Truck Driver to join our team. As a CDL-A Local Truck Driver, you will be responsible for delivering equipment parts regionally within 250 miles of Kansas City on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive a dry van with an automatic truck to deliver equipment parts to various locations.
  • Operate a forklift and perform some hand unloading at deliveries.
  • Work a night shift schedule, Monday through Friday, with a start time of 5:30 pm and an end time of 7:30 am.
  • Meet the requirements for a stable and secure driving position.

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of tractor-trailer driving experience in the past 12 months.
  • Able to lift up to 100 lbs.
  • Good MVR and stable work history.
  • No preventable accidents or incidents in the last 12 months.
  • No drug test fails or refusals in a lifetime.
