Job Summary

As a key member of our team, the Talent Acquisition Specialist, Workforce Planning will be responsible for performing all functions related to talent acquisition and promoting the employment brand. This includes sourcing, screening, assessing, and recommending qualified talent for the organization. The successful candidate will plan, execute, and measure recruitment strategies to ensure the efficient and cost-effective acquisition of top talent.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement talent acquisition plans based on specific positions
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment activities and make adjustments as necessary
  • Represent the company at job fairs and other Talent Acquisition activities
  • Coordinate communication of job vacancies internally and externally
  • Update and maintain job postings on internal and external websites
  • Verify the accuracy of current job descriptions for open positions and assist with minor revisions as needed
  • Coordinate utilization of temporary agency services as needed
  • Perform full recruitment life-cycle from posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, to extending/negotiating the offer
  • Facilitate the onboarding process
  • Maintain accurate departmental files and information systems
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • At least two years of experience in Human Resources or in lieu of experience a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management
  • Demonstrated knowledge in employment law and other regulatory and statutory requirements
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both in verbal and written form
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and with a team
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar application
  • Ability to set priorities, assess/problem solve and make independent decisions with minimal supervision
