Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Iredell Memorial Hospital Incorporated. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a critical role in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with respiratory disease, compromise, or illness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate various types of respiratory care equipment, including ventilators, oxygen therapy devices, and aerosol generators.
  • Provide therapy to patients with respiratory disease, compromise, or illness, including bronchial hygiene, aerosol therapy, and oxygen therapy.
  • Conduct routine assessments of patients' respiratory status, including vital signs, oxygen saturation, and respiratory rate.
  • Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans for patients, in collaboration with the healthcare team.
  • Monitor patients' response to therapy and adjust treatment plans as needed.
Requirements
  • Licensed by the North Carolina Board of Respiratory Care as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
  • Must possess full range of body motion to perform job duties, including walking, kneeling, standing, pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, reaching, and sitting for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
Work Schedule

This is a PRN (as needed) position, requiring flexibility to work varied shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.
