Job Summary:

Soliant Health, a leading healthcare staffing provider, is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a reputable school district in a dynamic and supportive environment. This is a full-time, onsite position with a primarily elementary caseload, offering a unique opportunity for a passionate professional to make a positive impact on the lives of students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessment and Intervention: Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students, and develop and implement individualized treatment plans and interventions to address their needs.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' academic and social progress, and participate in IEP meetings to contribute to the development of student goals.
  • Therapy Services: Provide direct therapy services to students with speech and language challenges, using evidence-based practices and adapting interventions as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Documentation and Progress Monitoring: Accurately document student progress, and monitor and adjust intervention strategies to ensure students meet their goals and make progress towards their IEP objectives.

Requirements:

  • Education and Licensure: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program, and a valid license to practice Speech-Language Pathology in the state of New Mexico (or eligibility to obtain).
  • Professional Certifications: Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) is preferred.
  • Experience and Skills: Previous experience in a school setting is a plus, but new graduates are welcome to apply. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team, and a commitment to providing quality services to students are essential.
