Mobile Trailer Mechanic/Body Technician

Pace Transportation Services is seeking an experienced Mobile Trailer Mechanic/Body Technician to join our team. As a key member of our mobile on-site fleet service, you will be responsible for providing exceptional mechanical service and professional customer service to our customers in the Chicagoland area.

Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair complex issues on heavy-duty trucks and trailers
  • Work with clients and customers to assess their needs and provide information or assistance
  • Drive to worksites to complete repairs and maintain company issued service truck
  • Complete required documents, such as service worksheets and warranty claims
  • Maintain company policies and procedures
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience working on heavy-duty vehicles
  • Post-secondary certificate or training
  • Experience with Ottawa/Kalmar products
  • Ability to lift/carry 30lbs frequently, 50lbs occasionally, and 100lbs during team lifts infrequently
