Cardiovascular Specialist Opportunity in Southeast New Mexico

Location: Southeast New Mexico
Healthcare United is seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Interventional Cardiologist to join an established healthcare system in Southeast New Mexico. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a dedication to delivering high-quality clinical care for cardiovascular and peripheral artery disease patients.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM. No weekends, no on-call schedule. Call coverage: 10 days per month for local hospitals.
Responsibilities:
• Diagnose and treat cardiovascular and peripheral artery disease on both an in-patient and out-patient basis.
• Provide medical consultations and call coverage for local hospitals, 10 days per month.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
Requirements:
• Completion of a 3-year residency in Internal Medicine.
• Completion of a 3-year fellowship in Cardiology.
• One to two-year additional fellowship in Interventional Cardiology.
• New Mexico medical license (active or pending).
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Team-oriented, patient-focused, and motivated to deliver exceptional care.
