Our expertise extends to various brands such as Cummins and Caterpillar engines, Allison Transmissions, and more.
Responsibilities:
- We are responsible for inspecting engines, performing diagnostic procedures, and implementing necessary repairs.
- Maintaining a safe working environment requires us to maneuver and handle heavy equipment with care.
- Lifting parts and equipment using hoists or hydraulic jacks is an essential part of our daily tasks.
- Regular inspections of brake systems, steering mechanisms, transmissions, engines, and other vehicle components ensure their optimal performance.
- We perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, battery checks, and refilling lubricants to prevent equipment failures.
- Our technicians disassemble and reassemble equipment and parts according to the manufacturer's specifications.
- Thoroughly testing vehicles after repairs guarantees their smooth operation and reliability.
Requirements:
- A minimum of experience working as a diesel mechanic or diesel technician with heavy equipment or tractor trailers is required.
- Familiarity with air, electric, hydraulic, and braking systems is essential for effective troubleshooting and repair.
- Experience with Cummins and Caterpillar engines, as well as Allison Transmissions, is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in utilizing software such as Cummins Insite, CAT ET, and Allison DOC can be advantageous.
- A set of personal tools is required, with training provided by our company.
