Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Job Summary:

The Licensed Practical Nurse will be responsible for providing routine nursing care to patients under the direction of a licensed professional nurse, nurse practitioner, and/or physician. This includes assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct nursing care to patients, including administering medications, performing vital signs, and documenting patient information.
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes and provide education to patients and families.
  • Participate in maintaining a safe and clean environment, including adhering to infection control policies and procedures.
  • Support clinical activities related to nursing and clinic flow, and make recommendations to manager for improvement in quality and effectiveness of nursing care.
Requirements:
  • Technical Diploma in Licensed Practical Nursing Program Required
  • At least two (2) years experience in the medical field Preferred
  • Pediatric experience Preferred
