Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medical Surgical team at ICONMA. As a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care: Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams: Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and achieve treatment goals.
- Monitor and interpret telemetry data: Independently interpret telemetry data to identify potential patient safety issues and take appropriate action.
- Manage patient ratios: Maintain a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:4-5, with flexibility to adjust as needed.
- Develop and maintain skills: Stay up-to-date with the latest medical surgical nursing practices and technologies, and participate in ongoing education and training.
Requirements:
- Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
- Experience: At least 1.5 years of intermediate-level experience in Medical Surgical nursing.
- Certifications: ACLS, Telemetry, and ASLS certifications are preferred but not required.
