Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Paralegal to join our team at J. Pena Law, PLLC. As a key member of our Plaintiff side civil litigation team, you will be responsible for assisting with case planning, development, and management, as well as document review and drafting. Your strong knowledge of local court rules and experience working with civil litigation files will be invaluable in this role.Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with case planning, development, and management, including research and analysis of legal documents and court proceedings.
  • Review and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
  • Manage electronic filing systems, including State and Federal court filings.
  • Communicate with clients and other stakeholders to ensure timely and effective case management.
  • Perform general administrative tasks as needed, including scheduling and calendar management.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Paralegal, with a strong background in civil litigation.
  • Knowledge of local court rules, including State and Federal court procedures.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and Mac operating system.
  • Knowledge of data-driven approaches to litigation.
