Job Summary

This exciting opportunity is for a Senior Nuclear Power Systems Design Engineer to join our dynamic team in Charlotte, NC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing nuclear power plant systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop nuclear power plant systems, including modification packages, mechanical drawings, and engineering analyses.
  • Prepare and review technical specifications, procurement documents, and vendor bid evaluations.
  • Lead engineering project teams and develop cost estimates for client-requested work scopes.
  • Visit client offices and/or plant site locations to interface with clients and present engineering tasks and status.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the nuclear power industry.
  • Working knowledge of codes, standards, and regulations applicable to mechanical engineering design of nuclear power plants.
  • PE license beneficial but not required.
