About the Role
This Inside Sales Representative opportunity is part of our dedicated team focused on selling floral vases and containers to our extensive network of retail shops. As a member of this dynamic organization, you will work closely with experienced professionals to develop effective sales strategies and techniques. This role combines a mix of phone-based selling, teamwork, and customer engagement, offering the right candidate a fantastic chance for personal growth and contributions to the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of Teleflora's product lines, services, systems, and technology.
- Work collaboratively with the Inside Sales Supervisor & Coordinator to refine and execute successful sales approaches, including closing deals, addressing objections, identifying buying signals, upselling, and consultative selling.
- Establish an efficient daily routine characterized by a structured approach to making calls and a commitment to achieving individual and team targets.
- Exceed sales targets through effective call management, time optimization, close rates, and units per sale.
- Develop strong rapport and trust with Teleflora florists, utilizing each customer interaction to reinforce our commitment to florist partners and the products/services offered.
- Provide regular feedback, recommendations, guidance, and sales/operations insights to the IS Supervisor, participating in meetings and training programs as needed.
Qualifications
High School graduate or equivalent;
- 3+ years of experience in sales environments with proven phone and sales skills;
- Strong attention to detail, ability to multitask, and high organization skills;
- Excellent attitude, endless optimism, energy, and open-mindedness to tackle challenges;
- Proven teamwork, communication, emotional intelligence, and collaboration abilities;
- Basic computer proficiency in Excel and Word;
Salary Information
We offer a competitive salary of $45,000 per year, plus commission opportunities and performance-based bonuses, resulting in an estimated total annual compensation of $60,000-$80,000. Benefits include medical insurance, vision, dental, and a 401(k) plan with match eligibility. Opportunities for development, internal mobility, and continuous improvement are also available.
