We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Brigham and Women's Hospital (BWH). As a key member of our primary care team, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to children and families in our community.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive primary care to patients aged 0-22, including routine check-ups, sick visits, and chronic disease management.
- Conduct physical examinations, order and interpret lab tests, and prescribe medications as needed.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, working collaboratively with patients, families, and other healthcare providers.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical guidelines and policies.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
- Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree.
- Completion of a Master's or post-Masters degree in Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) program accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) or the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC).
- Valid prescriptive authority from both MA DPH and Federal DEA.
- Current APRN License to practice in Massachusetts.
- Minimum 3 years' recent experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a Primary Care setting.
- Significant experience (>50% of primary care patients) with providing care to patients ages 0-22.
- Bilingual English/Spanish.
