Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist

Job Summary:
Children's Behavioral Services LLC is seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our multidisciplinary pediatric team. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in providing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Occupational Therapy (OT) services to children in South Central Missouri.

Responsibilities:
Facilitate the development and rehabilitation of patients with mental, emotional, and physical disabilities by implementing prescribed speech therapy plans.
Assess and interpret evaluations and test results to develop individualized treatment plans in consultation with physicians or based on medical prescriptions, ensuring the patient's goals and needs are met.
Assist patients in developing or regaining communication skills.
Conduct one-on-one therapy sessions with patients.
Foster patient independence by customizing therapy programs according to each individual's physical capacity, cognitive level, and personal interests.
Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting and modifying treatment plans as necessary.
Coordinate discharge planning with physicians, nurses, social workers, and other healthcare professionals.
Ensure continuity of care post-discharge by designing home exercise programs and instructing patients, families, and caregivers, as well as recommending assistive equipment and follow-up services such as outpatient or home health care.
Document patient care and therapy details in patient and departmental records.
Maintain patient confidentiality and protect clinical operations by following privacy and confidentiality protocols.
Ensure a safe and clean work environment by adhering to procedures, rules, and regulations.
Adhere to infection control policies to protect both patients and staff.
Stay up-to-date in the field by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, networking, and participating in professional organizations.
Provide training to speech therapy staff through the development and delivery of in-service training programs.
Comply with federal, state, and local regulations by staying informed on relevant legislation and advising management on necessary actions.
Contribute to team efforts by completing related tasks as required.
Follow all company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Speech Language Pathology program
Current or pending Missouri Speech Language Pathologist License
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification for Healthcare Providers, or ability to obtain within 90 days
Benefits include full-time eligibility after 60 days, a 90-day probationary period, and a pay range depending on experience.
