Salary and Benefits

Part-Time positions starting at $21.67/hour with pro-rated benefits. Per Diem positions: $25.07/hour, no benefits.

Job Description

The Dietary Aide/Food Service Staff role involves providing excellent meal service to our residents. Responsibilities include:

• Preparing food, serving residents, cleaning up after meals, and washing dishes.
• Properly preparing and cleaning kitchen stations assigned.
• Preparing cold and hot food and beverage items according to diets and recipes.
• Assembling trays according to prescribed diets and serving resident tray lines and main dining rooms.
• Taking inventory and delivering prepared nourishments to nursing unit pantries at designated times for residents' use.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• Some high school education.
• Experience working in a kitchen in a healthcare setting preferred but not required.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and harmoniously with all staff.
• A working knowledge of food service techniques and sanitation.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
