Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Nursing Assistant to join our team at Seton Residence, a private facility providing resident-centered care to 65 retired Catholic Sisters. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the comfort, dignity, and well-being of our residents.

Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living, as directed by the nurse.
  • Assist with post-mortem care, including bathing and dressing.
  • Answer call lights and patients' requests promptly, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Report any unusual symptoms, reactions, or concerns to the nurse, maintaining accurate and timely documentation.
  • Operate equipment safely and effectively, reporting any issues to the Charge Nurse.
  • Work collaboratively with the nursing team to deliver high-quality patient care, assisting with orientation and training of new employees.
  • Maintain a safe and attractive environment, adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
Requirements
  • High School Degree or GED preferred.
  • Ability to follow simple oral and written instructions.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare or long-term care facility preferred.
