We are seeking a dedicated Security Officer - Patient Safety Specialist to join our team at Hackensack Meridian Health. As a vital member of our security team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of patients, visitors, and staff.
Key Responsibilities:- Making continuous patrols throughout the Medical Center to identify and address potential security risks.
- Responding to calls and codes for security assistance, providing timely and effective support in emergency situations.
- Providing visible deterrence to crime and prohibited activities, while maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor.
- Controlling access to the Medical Center, enforcing policies and procedures, and issuing passes as necessary.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.
