Job Title: Janitor

Calvary Albuquerque is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Janitor. This part-time position offers flexible work hours and the opportunity to make a positive impact on our campus community.

Job Summary:

The Janitor will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our buildings, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our staff, volunteers, and visitors. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and maintain building facilities, including floors, walls, and windows
  • Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum floors using cleaning supplies, tools, and equipment
  • Assist in intensive floor care, including carpet cleaning, waxing, or polishing
  • Dust partitions, walls, fixtures, and other equipment
  • Clean bathrooms and dispose of trash in offices and outside receptacles
  • Assist with set up, tear down, arranging, and/or removing of tables, chairs, and equipment for special events and ministries
  • Assist in building security by locking and unlocking buildings
  • Be on call during service times for emergency clean up or assistance
Requirements:
  • Previous experience preferred
  • Floor care experience a plus
  • Able to follow oral and written instructions
  • Able to work effectively with the team and/or independently
  • Ability to complete assigned responsibilities and duties under direction from supervisor
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Regular, timely attendance during stated scheduled hours
