Position Overview

We are seeking a Research Associate II (In Vivo) to join our esteemed Insourcing Solutions team.

Key Responsibilities

In this pivotal role, you will:

  • Execute essential in vivo techniques to support the advancement of our clients' drug research and development pipelines.
  • Utilize your extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with in vivo animal laboratory techniques.
  • Perform routine husbandry and provide technical support for various in vivo research projects.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in fundamental in vivo laboratory techniques, including blood collection, injections, and tissue processing.
  • Participate in experimental design and planning, and set up and operate necessary experimental equipment.
  • Conduct laboratory procedures in accordance with established protocols and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain precise records of animal health and experimental procedures, preparing data for project reports.
  • Exhibit strong technical knowledge in your area of responsibility and manage small studies independently.
  • Train staff and perform techniques such as oral gavage, various injection methods, and blood collection.
  • Apply cell and molecular biology techniques to analyze interactions between cells, tissues, and biomaterials.

Qualifications

Who Are We Looking For?

We seek candidates with:

  • A Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in a Life Science discipline (e.g., biology, veterinary science) and a minimum of four years of relevant experience; OR
  • A CVT/LVT/RVT certification with four years of directly related experience in laboratory animal husbandry; OR
  • A High School diploma/GED with six years of directly related experience.

Immuno-oncology experience is required.

Note: An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. AALAS Certification at the LATG level is preferred.

Compensation

The pay range for this position is competitive and varies based on experience, skills, education, certifications, and location.

Vaccine Mandate

This position requires compliance with client mandates for COVID-19 vaccination. Proof of vaccination will be required for all employees servicing clients with such requirements.
