We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Medical Surgical 6 South - Pulmonary team at Ascension St. Vincent in Evansville, Indiana.

About the Role

This is a $75,000 - $90,000 per year opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families. As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform basic clinical and non-clinical patient care activities under supervision.
  • Aid with movement and placement of patients.
  • Assist patients with tending to personal care and activities of daily living.
  • Report findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to nursing staff. Document necessary records.
  • Keep patient rooms clean, orderly, and maintain medical equipment.
Requirements
  • Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 month of hire date required.
  • Education: High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job-specific experience required.
