We are seeking a highly skilled Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) Engineer to join our team at TÜV SÜD America. This is a full-time exempt position that requires expertise in EMC testing and compliance with national and international regulatory standards.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in wireless communication systems, protocols, and technologies, including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GNSS, 4G, millimeter wave, and other license-exempt and licensed wireless technologies.
This role involves performing EMI tests in a laboratory environment, documenting results in standardized test reports, and staying up-to-date with the latest design theory and technical advancements.
About the Role- Perform EMI tests per national and international regulatory standards and test procedures in a laboratory environment.
- Document test results in standardized test reports.
- Maintain knowledge of proper operational procedures for all relevant test equipment.
- Stay current with product standards, test procedures, instrumentation, and technology.
The salary range for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
