This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals who share our passion for supporting expectant mothers and new families. As a birth companion, you will have the privilege of making a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Parent Educators to provide expert doula services, enhancing the client experience and promoting positive outcomes.
• Deliver exceptional care to clients, focusing on their physical, emotional, and psychological well-being during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods.
• Establish trust with clients, actively listening to their concerns and providing tailored support to meet their unique needs.
• Engage in ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date on best practices in doula care and perinatal support.

Requirements:

• A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Health Science or a related field is advantageous.
• Proven experience working with vulnerable populations, preferably in a perinatal setting.
• Fluency in Spanish and English is essential, enabling effective communication with clients from diverse linguistic backgrounds.
• The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills, empathy, and a patient demeanor.
