Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Service Utility Assistant to join our team at Compass Group Equity Partners. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen work areas, ensuring that our food preparation and service areas meet the highest standards of safety and sanitation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain kitchen work areas, including sweeping and mopping floors, washing worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food preparation surfaces.
  • Remove trash and place it into designated containers, and steam clean or hose out garbage cans.
  • Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas, and assist with banquet table and front of the house set up.
  • Distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment as needed, and comply with outlined sanitation and safety requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
  • Previous food service experience is preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of productivity.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
