Scope of Work:
The Registered Nurse (RN) operates under the ANA scope of practice, utilizing the nursing process framework to deliver professional nursing care. This includes incorporating patient-family centered care principles to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and discharge patients.
The RN is responsible for providing high-quality patient care under the guidance of the Nurse Leader, adhering to Corewell Health policies and procedures. The RN recognizes the significance of nursing care and the partnership with patients and families in influencing patient outcomes.
The RN collaborates with patients and families to incorporate their input and goals into the care plan, developing appropriate educational strategies and documenting learning in the health record.

Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required within 5 years
- MI Registered Nurse (RN) license required upon hire or transfer
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire or transfer
- AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required upon hire or transfer
- Preferred: 2 years of experience as an RN, with Endoscopy RN experience
