Position: Structural Project Engineer / Manager

We are seeking talented individuals who aspire to advance their careers in a rewarding environment. The Structural Engineer will collaborate closely with project managers, other engineering staff, and clients to execute structural engineering analyses and produce design documentation.
Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver professional engineering services across a range of projects, including commercial, industrial, municipal, and forensic engineering. Responsibilities encompass project development, detailed design, construction oversight, and the creation of project specifications.
  • Design structural frameworks utilizing various materials such as structural steel, concrete (both reinforced and prestressed), masonry, and wood.
  • Develop foundation systems suitable for diverse geological conditions, including expansive and collapsible soils.
  • Conduct structural design for water and wastewater treatment facilities, focusing on watertight concrete structures.
  • Oversee specific tasks within larger projects while managing smaller assignments.
  • Enhance existing client relationships and actively seek new client engagements.
  • Assist the Structural Practice Leader in identifying and managing project opportunities.
  • Ensure quality control and assurance for all project deliverables.
  • Facilitate and participate in both internal and external meetings.

Qualifications

Essential Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related discipline.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) registration.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in structural analysis software.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in structural engineering and consulting.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary for project and client engagements.
  • Familiarity with regional design standards and construction practices.
  • All candidates must meet pre-employment onboarding requirements, which may include background checks and drug screening.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Over 10 years of experience in structural engineering and consulting.
  • Experience in project management, including budget and schedule oversight.
  • Leadership experience in both internal and external project initiatives.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks concurrently.
  • Mentorship experience with junior engineers and project team members.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Revit software.
  • Experience in client management and business development.
