*Salary for this position is $50/hour*
Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform general mechanical duties and assist in complex tasks under supervision.
  • Diagnose and repair transmission, clutch, and differential failures.
  • Conduct basic troubleshooting on MX and Cummins products using EDS and Diagnostic Assistant.
  • Perform diagnostics and repairs on HVAC systems and external engine components.
  • Proficiently handle welding, torch cutting, and fabrication tasks.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and handle company tools responsibly.
  • Communicate additional repair needs to the Shop Foreman.
  • Adhere to safe work practices and procedures, and attend regular training sessions and meetings.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in a related mechanical field or equivalent vocational training.
  • Experience in a truck dealership is preferred.
  • Proficiency in A/C and Brake systems, CAT, MX, and Cummins Engines.
  • Experience in electrical systems and wiring troubleshooting.
  • Must possess necessary tools to perform job responsibilities.
  • CDL is preferred but not required.
  • Must be fully PACCAR certified.
