Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Dental Assistant to join our team at Leander Modern Dentistry. As a key member of our dental care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dentists in delivering high-quality treatment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist dentists in gaining patient commitment to optimal treatment plans
  • Participate in the Perfect Patient Experience by focusing patients on optimal treatment while addressing individual needs and concerns
  • Maintain a clean, sterile, and welcoming environment for patients
  • Prepare patients for treatment and assist dentists in providing efficient and quality dental care
  • Complete x-rays and intra-oral pictures as directed by dentists
  • Instruct patients on postoperative and general oral health care
  • Sterilize and disinfect instruments, equipment, and operatories according to ADA guidelines
  • Comply with State, Federal, and other regulations, including OSHA, WC, Dental Board, HIPAA, ADA, DOL, and HR policies
Requirements
  • Equivalent to high school diploma or GED, and specified training courses for certification, licensure, or registration
  • Certifications/licenses/registrations as mandated by applicable state
  • Associate degree or one-year certificate from an accredited college or technical school, or equivalent combination of education and experience
