The estimated salary for this position is around $40,000 - $50,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. This is a full-time position that requires flexibility and teamwork to meet the needs of our guests and hotel staff.



Job Summary:

The Laundry Attendant - Linen Care Specialist is responsible for cleaning, inspecting, and maintaining hotel linens to ensure they meet the highest standards of quality and cleanliness. This includes washing, drying, and ironing linens, as well as monitoring and maintaining laundry equipment and supplies.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Identify stained or damaged items and determine the best course of action for repair, spot treatment, rewash, or discard.
  • Inspect cleanliness of articles removed from the washer, dryer, or dry-cleaning machines and place them in clean linen carts.
  • Set dryer to designated times and temperatures based on fabrics contained in the load.
  • Remove lint and debris from dryer screens, dry cleaning filters, and drain traps after each load.
  • Fold cleaned articles into designated sizes, either by hand or using a folding machine.
  • Maintain accurate records of items laundered.
  • Deliver folded linens to designated storage areas.
  • Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures.
  • Ensure uniform and personal appearance is clean and professional.
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards.
  • Ability to work independently without close supervision.
  • Speak with others using clear and professional language.
  • Answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.
  • Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.
  • Keep laundry and surrounding areas clean.
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.


Requirements:


  • Prior laundry experience preferred.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • Physical ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance.
