Countertop Finisher

Job Summary

Cambria is seeking a skilled Polishing Specialist to join our team. As a Polishing Specialist, you will be responsible for hand polishing custom fabricated Cambria countertops to a high-gloss finish.

Key Responsibilities

• Learn and apply the concepts of Cambria polish work as outlined in the polish Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Identify profiled material that requires hand polishing
• Polish pieces to effectively blend seams
• Utilize overhead cranes to transfer polish pieces to and from workstations
• Inspect the overhead crane daily
• Communicate with supervisors to keep them informed of any material defects and difficult polish jobs
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Conduct all job-related duties in a safe and responsible manner
• Attend work daily, be punctual, and work the duration of a shift

Requirements

• Proficiency with basic mathematics
• Ability to work safely and follow Standard Operating Procedures
• Ability to become certified in using an overhead crane
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work as a team player
• Sense of urgency in completing work
• Ability to work extended hours and/or weekends on short notice

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Polishing experience preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand on concrete for the duration of the work shift

• Steel-toed boots
