Responsibilities
  • Assist with Cardiac Catheterization Procedures: Work closely with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to prepare patients for procedures, maintain equipment, and ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.
  • Maintain a Safe and Efficient Work Environment: Ensure that the Cardiac Cath Lab is clean, organized, and equipped with the necessary supplies and equipment to perform procedures safely and effectively.
  • Provide Exceptional Patient Care: Treat patients with compassion and respect, and provide clear and concise instructions to ensure their understanding of procedures and post-procedure care.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Team: Work closely with cardiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
  • Participate in Quality Improvement Initiatives: Contribute to quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes, and participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest procedures and technologies.
Requirements
  • Education: Associate's degree or higher in a related field, such as cardiovascular technology or a related field.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a cardiovascular setting, preferably in a Cardiac Cath Lab.
  • Certifications: Current certification in cardiovascular technology, such as RCVT or RCES.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in cardiovascular technology and equipment.
