Position Overview:
As a Senior AXIOM Developer, you will be instrumental in advancing and sustaining our regulatory reporting framework within a leading investment bank. The AXIOM platform is vital for ensuring precise and timely compliance with regulatory standards. You will collaborate with a team of skilled professionals dedicated to utilizing technology for efficient regulatory adherence while maintaining data accuracy and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate the current environment and document workflows and logic.
- Design and implement AXIOM workflows, optimizing processes through innovative logic and shortcuts.
- Engage in both positive and regression testing to validate effective implementations.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in Regulatory Report outcomes, incorporating insights from Business Analysts.
- Contribute actively in project meetings, influencing discussions and decisions.
- Ensure timely and successful delivery of project milestones.
Qualifications:
Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related discipline, along with substantial experience as a Senior Developer focused on AXIOM in the financial services sector. A deep understanding of financial regulatory reporting requirements and proficiency in AXIOM Controller View and associated technologies are essential.
Preferred Qualifications:
A Master's degree in a relevant field is advantageous. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools, as well as knowledge of additional financial regulatory reporting platforms, will be considered a plus.
