Job Summary

U-Haul is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Storage Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a key member of our support team, you will be the face of our exceptional service, ensuring that customers receive the help they need on their journeys.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the site manager with facility operations, including maintaining a clean and secure environment for customers.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, answering phone inquiries and addressing customer concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Conduct tours of storage units, explain rental agreements, and prepare contracts for new customers.
  • Perform routine property cleanup and minor repair work to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure that all vacant storage units are clean, dry, secure, and available for new customers.
  • Participate in ongoing continuous education through U-Haul University to stay up-to-date on company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays.
Work Environment

The work environment involves moderate risks or discomforts, requiring special safety precautions. You may be required to use protective clothing or gear, such as masks, goggles, gloves, or shields.

Physical Demands

The work requires some physical exertion, including long periods of standing, walking, and moving equipment. You may be required to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
