Perinatal Sonographer

At WakeMed, we are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will operate ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality images of the unborn fetus and female pelvis under the direct supervision of a physician.
The ideal candidate will have 3 years of clinical experience in ultrasound, preferably in obstetrics and gynecology. A graduate degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Radiologic Technology is required, and registration as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer - OB/GYN is mandatory. Fetal Echocardiography certification is a plus.
As an Ultrasound Technologist at WakeMed, you will be responsible for conducting fetal surveillance and antenatal monitoring, assisting physicians with invasive procedures, and recording images electronically. You will also provide preliminary findings to the supervising physician and ensure patient care is delivered in a timely, professional, and safe manner.
