Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Custodian/Grounds position. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of our college-wide property, including buildings, grounds, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform varied duties necessary to ensure proper custodial and grounds maintenance of college-wide property.
  • Operate and maintain equipment, including lawn mowers, leaf blowers, and other grounds maintenance tools.
  • Assist with snow removal and other winter maintenance tasks as needed.
  • Perform routine cleaning tasks, including emptying trash and recycling receptacles, and restocking supplies.
  • Assist with special events and projects as needed.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent required.
  • Validated driver's license required.
  • Three (3) years' experience in grounds maintenance, horticulture, or landscaping for Grounds positions.
  • Custodial experience preferred.
