Job Description and Duties

This position is located in Santa Rosa, CA.

The incumbent is responsible for overseeing the construction and maintenance of buildings and facilities within the Department of Forestry & Fire Protection.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the construction and maintenance of buildings and facilities.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols.
  • Manage and supervise a team of construction personnel.
  • Coordinate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure project completion.
  • Develop and implement construction plans and schedules.
Working Conditions:

Overnight travel may be required.

May be required to work nights, weekends, holidays, and/or extended hours.

Special Requirements:
  • The position requires Medical Clearance prior to being hired.
  • The incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain certified purchaser status.
  • Must maintain annual medical clearance in accordance with department policy.
