At Advocate Aurora Health, we are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Clinician/CPS to join our team. This role will be responsible for implementing evidence-based nursing interventions, best practice guidelines, research, and modifications of professional standards and organizational policies to optimize patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement evidence-based nursing interventions and best practice guidelines to improve patient outcomes
- Provide leadership and expertise in implementing and evaluating unit-based programs of care
- Coordinate, implement, and evaluate orientation and continuing education programs
- Collaborate with other leadership and provide support to staff, management, and administration
- Monitor and ensure compliance with local, state, federal, and other regulatory agencies
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the team member practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Nursing certification in one or more specialty-specific areas issued by the American Nurses Credentialing Center
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Typically requires 2 years of experience in nursing or clinical specialty area
