Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Substitute to join our team at Central Berkshire Regional School District. As a Nurse Substitute, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct thorough assessments of students' health needs and develop effective plans to address any concerns.
  • Emergency Care: Provide immediate care in the event of an injury or sudden illness, ensuring the student's safety and well-being.
  • Health Education: Offer guidance and information on common health issues, such as child neglect and abuse, substance use and abuse, human nutrition, and adolescent pregnancy.
  • Health Services: Provide required health services for school personnel, including personal care needs for physically handicapped students as outlined in their educational plans.
Requirements
  • Massachusetts license as a Registered Nurse
  • Minimum of two years of supervised nursing experience in community health or child health
  • Certified in CPR
