Job Title: Respiratory Therapist - Travel

Uniti Med is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team for a travel assignment in Newark, New Jersey.

About the Job

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Respiratory Therapist to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide respiratory care to patients with a variety of conditions, including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), pneumonia, and acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS)
  • Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and communication
  • Conduct routine assessments and evaluations to monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Respiratory Therapy or a related field
  • Current licensure and certification as a Respiratory Therapist
  • At least 2 years of experience in a hospital or healthcare setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
