About the Role

Magnolia River is seeking a highly skilled Design Engineer to join our innovative team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of natural gas distribution and transmission pipeline facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage in a variety of tasks including modeling, designing, drafting, and field work, contributing to every phase of the project lifecycle.
  • Develop and maintain a professional rapport with Project Manager, Asst. Project Manager, and project team members, providing timely responses and communicating effectively, both written and orally.
  • Proactively work toward team, division, and company goals, offering leadership and sharing of knowledge and skills.
  • Study federal, state, and client requirements to develop a better understanding of gas system designs.
  • Maintain target billable goals and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil or Mechanical is preferred) AND 2 years of experience working in an engineering environment.
  • Natural gas pipeline experience and/or other utility is preferred.
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) is preferred.
  • Previous internship with Magnolia River is preferred.
Physical Demands

Duties are performed in an office and field environment. The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers and clients. Must be able to exchange accurate information.
