  • Merchandising and Visual Displays
    • Develop and implement visually appealing merchandising displays to showcase produce products.
    • Ensure that the produce department is well-organized and easy to navigate.
  • Regulatory Compliance
    • Ensure that the produce department is in compliance with all relevant food safety and regulatory requirements.
    • Monitor and report any issues or concerns to management.
Requirements
  • 24+ months retail experience, including 12+ months of team leadership experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of produce products, including buying, pricing, merchandising, and inventory management.
  • Excellent interpersonal, motivational, team building, and customer relationship skills.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Food safety certification (or willingness to obtain within 6 months).
Working Conditions
  • Ability to work in a wet and cold environment.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Ability to use tools and equipment, including box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery.
