Position Overview: The Facilities Operations Coordinator serves as the primary contact for designated facilities within the Southeast Region. This role is essential in facilitating daily requests related to facilities and construction, ensuring effective communication and documentation with internal stakeholders to achieve cost savings and standardization across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with management and staff regarding daily facility-related matters.
  • Collaborate with field personnel to manage repair needs and scheduling.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors for various service agreements.
  • Interact with local authorities to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Negotiate with landlords regarding lease obligations and necessary repairs.
  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction in facilities management.
  • Provide on-site services as required within the company’s operational footprint.
  • Establish contracts for services such as landscaping, HVAC, and janitorial work.
  • Manage procurement for facilities-related materials.
  • Analyze leases and contracts to minimize unnecessary expenditures.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years in commercial or residential construction management.
  • Proficient in interpreting commercial leases and related documents.
  • Fluent in various construction disciplines, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.
  • Adept at reading construction and engineering drawings.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects across different locations.
  • Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Highly organized with strong critical thinking abilities.
