Job Summary:We are seeking an exceptional Staff Pharmacist to join our team at CVS Health. As a critical member of our pharmacy operations, you will be responsible for supporting the Pharmacy Manager and leading your Pharmacy Technician Support Staff. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Patient Safety: Ensuring the safe handling and dispensing of medications.
- Pharmacy Professional Practice: Providing expert guidance on pharmaceutical care and services.
- Regulatory Requirements: Maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Quality Assurance: Monitoring and improving pharmacy performance metrics.
- Customer Service: Delivering exceptional service to patients and customers.
- Personnel Management: Leading and developing your Pharmacy Support Staff.
- Inventory Management: Managing inventory levels and ordering supplies.
- Financial Profitability: Contributing to the financial success of your pharmacy.
- Loss Prevention: Identifying and mitigating potential risks.
- Workflow Management: Streamlining processes to optimize efficiency.
This position requires a strong understanding of pharmacy operations, regulatory requirements, and customer service principles. You will work closely with your team to achieve specific goals and contribute to the overall success of your pharmacy. Requirements:To be successful in this role, you must meet the following qualifications:
- Active Pharmacy License in the state where employed.
- Not listed on the DEA Excluded Parties List.
- Immunization Certification through an accredited organization.
- No pending felony charges or convictions related to controlled substances.
We also welcome candidates with:
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. degree.
The typical pay range for this role is $60.00 - $73.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
