Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic Technician B - Heavy-Duty Fleet Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of proven experience in medium to heavy-duty vehicle repair, including preventative maintenance, tire & wheel, air & air disc brakes, diagnosis, computerized diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting, electronic component repair, and refrigeration.

Responsibilities
  • Perform preventative maintenance on medium to heavy-duty trucks, trailers, reefer units, and convertor dollies under minimal supervision.
  • Identify root cause of basic failures/conditions and perform repairs as required.
  • E nsure equipment has required licensing and registration prior to being deemed as 'roadworthy'.
  • Complete thorough documentation for work orders of repairs and preventative maintenance through the online Enterprise Asset Management system.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
  • 3-5 years of proven experience in medium to heavy-duty vehicle repair
