Job Summary

The ideal candidate for this role will oversee daily operations in an industrial manufacturing environment, ensuring employee safety, product quality, and production efficiency. This individual will be responsible for planning, improving, and maintaining daily operations, including supervising and training employees, making improvements to product quality and production efficiency, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimate material and worker requirements to complete jobs, including supervising and training employees
  • Make improvements to product quality, production efficiency, and safe work practices
  • Examine and inspect work progress and equipment to verify safety and ensure specifications are met
  • Maintain open lines of communication between team members and management
  • Manage the plant safety program, including training, observation, enforcement, and resolution
Requirements
  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
  • 5 or more years of supervisory experience in a fast-paced construction/heavy industrial or manufacturing environment
  • Ability to manage priorities and workflow
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical skills, such as calculating percentages and volumes
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. periodically throughout the day
