Job Description

ReqOverflow is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pediatric ICU Department Manager to join our team.

As a key member of our healthcare team, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the Pediatric ICU department, ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing management, with experience in acute care settings and a proven track record of success in leading teams and implementing process improvements.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing departmental policies and procedures
  • Leading and managing a team of nursing staff
  • Coordinating with other departments to ensure seamless patient care
  • Monitoring and improving patient outcomes
  • Managing departmental budgets and resources

Requirements include:

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing
  • Master's degree in nursing or related field preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in nursing management
  • Current Texas RN license or compact license
  • Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS provider
  • PALS
