The OpportunityWe are seeking an exceptional Part-Time Temporary School Psychologist to join our team at The Excel Academy of Englewood. As a School Psychologist, you will play a critical role in fueling student success by providing psychological evaluations and determining services in accordance with Pennsylvania state law and IDEA guidelines.
Key Responsibilities- Consult with school staff, families, and students to develop and implement individualized support plans.
- Participate in assessment plan meetings to determine student needs and develop strategies for support.
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to assess intellectual, developmental, academic, social/emotional, and behavioral status.
- Interpret assessment results and create written evaluation reports to inform student support plans.
- Lead assessment feedback meetings to review results and recommendations with school staff and families.
- Maintain student caseloads in compliance with state timelines and company policies.
- Complete all required paperwork in a timely manner.
- Active Pennsylvania Certification in School Psychology.
- Ability to travel to schools in Philadelphia to conduct evaluations and provide support.
