Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist Position

Fairview Health Services is seeking a skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our team at University of Minnesota Medical Center - East Bank Anesthesia department.
- The CRNA will oversee the daily operations of the anesthesia department and supervise support staff, ensuring seamless delivery of care.
- As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, the CRNA will work collaboratively with Anesthesiologists and SRNAs to provide high-quality patient care.
- The successful candidate will enjoy flexible scheduling and a dynamic work environment.
- We utilize a fully integrated Electronic Medical Record (EPIC) system, facilitating efficient and accurate patient care.
- As a Pioneer Accountable Care Organization (ACO), our providers employ a team-based approach to managing clinical care, ensuring comprehensive and coordinated patient outcomes.
The CRNA will be responsible for:
- Providing anesthesia services to patients undergoing various surgical procedures.
- Collaborating with Anesthesiologists and SRNAs to develop and implement anesthesia plans.
- Supervising support staff to ensure efficient department operations.
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
To be considered for this role, the successful candidate will possess:
- A graduate degree in nursing from an accredited program.
- Formal training and certification as a CRNA.
- A current Minnesota APRN license and board certification or eligibility from the National Board on Certification and Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
- Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges.
