Nail Technician

We are seeking a skilled Nail Technician to join our team at The Mather in Tysons. As a Nail Technician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality manicures, pedicures, and nail treatments to our residents and guests.

• Provide exceptional nail care services, including manicures, pedicures, and nail restoration treatments.
• Evaluate the condition of clients' nails and advise them on proper nail care and treatments.
• Sanitize all nail instruments and equipment before each use.
• Ensure that workstations are kept sanitary, clean, and orderly.
• Recommend various nail styling techniques and products.
• Maintain confidentiality about guest information and maintain guest privacy.
• Perform consecutive salon treatments, prompt with each appointment, and perform services within the appropriate time allotted for the service.
• Properly care for professional salon equipment and use proper amounts of product to assist with cost controls.
• Maintain complete knowledge and understanding of all services and products while educating and training salon guests in these areas.
• Actively promote the spa and salon, treatments, services, sessions, and retail, in addition to programs, promotions, and discounts available.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must hold and maintain a current State Nail Technician and or Cosmetology license.
• Ability to use or learn a variety of tech-based services and platforms, i.e. Microsoft Outlook, Zoom, resident-facing portals, and spa-specific appointment/booking software.
